Between 1953 and 1987, Camp Lejeune, a military base in North Carolina, faced a serious problem: water contamination. This meant that over a million people, including residents and personnel, were exposed to harmful chemicals through their drinking water.
This contamination has been connected to a range of health problems, from cancers to birth defects and other diseases. As a result, many affected individuals have taken legal action by filing what’s known as the Camp Lejeune Lawsuit.
If you lived or worked at Camp Lejeune for at least 30 days between August 1, 1953, and December 31, 1987, and have experienced health issues linked to the water contamination during that time, you might be eligible to join the Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Lawsuit.
